To kick off our new blog for this season we are starting with something festive – well placed snowflakes, antlers, puddings, songbirds and seasons greetings!
Puddings from eBay
Robins from John Lewis
Snowman from Sainsbury’s
Flashing Prosecco from Asda
Antlers from Tesco F&F
Here is some advice from Jane and Maureen for when you find the perfect Christmas outfit, but realise it would hang better on you if you weren’t completely flat. For occasions when you want to have breast forms you can wear softies (fabric prostheses available from your breast care nurse) or Knitted Knockers (knitted or crocheted cotton prostheses available from registered charity Knitted Knockers UK via their website.
Jane says, “My first outing with foobs. Five months post double I have never bothered before but I bought this dress in Monsoon sale and then realised it just didn’t look right flat. I thought that neckline would be a no no but the little bra tops from M&Co have a lace panel which are really pretty. They do them in white too.”
And here is Maureen in her dress from Monsoon which she is also wearing with prostheses.
